In Fortnite Save the World main questline, players will encounter Storm Shield Defense missions every tenth quest, with a reward of 100 V-Bucks and Skill Points. At the beginning of the game, these missions are even more frequent, and players can quickly accumulate rewards by progressing through the story. Completing Storm Shield Defenses rewards players with Hero Experience and Mini Llamas, but it is also recommended to ask for assistance in the global chat as many players are willing to help for the chance to make progress in the “Hold The Door!” challenge and earn rewards.
Key Regions in the Fortnite Main Storyline
The Main Questline is divided into four distinct sections. The following section will be unlocked upon completing a designated number of quests. Each section of the questline contains six Storm Shield Defense quests, regardless of the number of quests within that section. By completing each section’s questline, players can earn 600 V-Bucks, with each Storm Shield Defense quest granting 100 V-Bucks. Additionally, as the game progresses, players can access Storm Shield Defense quests 7, 8, 9, and 10 as Side Quests via freethevbucks.com. Completing Storm Shield Defense 10 grants 150 V-Bucks, resulting in 1050 V-Bucks for each section.
The questline for Stonewood includes 34 quests. The 1st, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 28th, and 34th quests all involve completing Storm Shield Defense missions.
Plankerton has 51 quests in its questline, resulting in less frequent Storm Shield Defense missions than Stonewood.
The questline in Canny Valley includes 81 quests, resulting in less frequent Storm Shield Defense missions than Stonewood or Plankerton.
The questline in Twine Peaks includes 98 missions, decreasing the frequency of Storm Shield Defense missions compared to the previous areas.

Advantages of Advancing in Save the World (STW)
You will receive V-Buck rewards for completing Storm Shield Defense missions, gaining access to new regions, and expanding your Storm Shields as you progress. With each successful Storm Shield Defense mission, your Storm Shield will increase in size and reveal more opportunities for missions. Additionally, you may come across Challenges and Side Quests that offer V-Bucks as rewards, with each zone containing four more Storm Shield Defense missions as Side Quests. Some Daily Quests are specific to certain areas and can be obtained once you reach that area. By unlocking new regions, your chances of finding Timed Missions that offer V-Buck rewards will also increase.
